Clapton introduces “Pearly Queen,” the second track on Eric Clapton’s Rainbow Concert to feature a Steve Winwood lead vocal. The performance is a bit loose-limbed, but holds fairly close to the original version as featured on Traffic’s second, self-titled album from Eric Clapton - .

Nov 15,  · Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert Discussion in 'Music Corner' started exactly which show the songs were pulled from but I can tell you about the 6 tracks that made up the original live "Rainbow" album. "After Midnight" "Little Wing" and "Presence Of The Lord" come from the first show ( pm) while "Badge", "Roll It Over" and "Pearly.

I saw Eric perform live in at the Royal Albert Hall and it was a great performance but this at the Rainbow must have been a really great concert. This album is a must for any fan of the master, yea it is raw but it is live and brilliant in my view/5().

Oct 30,  · One live album I have in my collection seems to be somewhat of a misfit, and that is Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert album. I have the expanded version, and I've always loved it. It seems to get a lot of bad rap, and I don't know why. The all-star band is what I really enjoy.
